Bay Area Bicycle Rescue is a nonprofit founded in 2015 that is dedicated to saving bicycles. We started as a necessity for bicycle nonprofits and community shops that become saturated with used bike donations, while other charities struggle. Not many people think to donate bicycles to shelters or schools, but they often need them. Local transportation and law enforcement agencies get overloaded with bicycles as well, and while they do not want to throw them away, they simply do not have the resources to fill the little pockets of need around the community. That’s where Bay Area Bicycle Rescue comes in. Please get in touch with us or come on by during our open shop hours to donate your personal bikes or bicycle parts. Please reach out if you have bulk bicycles you are looking to get rid of. Sorry, but we cannot do individual pickups.
